1. Install jaunty 64bit in virtualbox with 3D enabled (compiz) and install
flashplugin-installer. (At this point, flash works correctly

the bug has been fixed upstream for the 0.8.3 brasero release in
revision 1363. However, most of changes in this revision does not apply
correctly to current 0.8.2 brasero in intrepid. Would perhaps be a good
idea to consider 0.8.3 as a bug-fix update when it will be available.

This regression appeared with revision 2857 of gnome power manager which
fixed another similar regression introduced by revision 2845. Revision
2845 caused "g", "k" and ";" keys to stop working.

I tested this bug with 2.6.24 kernel and it remains the same, there is
not change with different kernel.
Ted : Here are the logs. In gpm-intrepid.log, each time I typed "CTRL +
C" to stop gdm, it didn't stop and I just got this in terminal, until I
used the tty switch trick to recover full keyboar

I tested 2.22.2-0ubuntu2 from hardy-proposed on a clean hardy install
and I can't reproduce the bug, I see no regression in all functions I
tried.
However, a side note : I was also not able to reproduce the bug with the
un-fixed 2.22.2-0ubuntu1 evince version on Hardy.
