i got an error message when i tried to report this bug. it said to the
effect of " the problem cannot be reported because i have some obsolete
packages. it went on to list gvfs-fuse, gvfs, libgdu0" i tried to
upgrade these packages, but it wouldnt let me upgrade thru command line,
i opened synaptic
Having the same problem today. Also tried in a second computer wich runs
Fedora and the same error is showing. Looks like it is not only
affecting Ubuntu.. In my case, I was trying to record an audio CD. As
soon as it started it stopped with the same error (finished w/ status
11)

This happens to me exactly:
When playlist finished, status says "Not playing", if I choose another
album/playlist and click on "Play" button,
the song is apparently cued to start but nothing progresses. Re-clicking on
"Play" will pause it. Re-clicking on "Play" will now play the song.
