I downgraded successfully, I was able to do a weird manipulation (see below)
and when I upgraded again the changes remained and it works with the last
packages

upgraded again I didn't have the problem anymore; I tried to do the downgrading
upgrading twice and I am unable to reproduce the bug (which was persistent
after reboot)

This is a security issue because at the login screen I found that with
no shutdown options, my computer could login with ANY username and ANY
password. Lock Screen doesn't help.
