BTW, I did already put this on the upstream bug report for you. I
thought the traceback was strange though, as it did not contain the
string "pango" anymore, so it may not be that useful.

This also happens for me with the evolution-mapi plugin, so it may not
just be an IMAP thing. I am using Evolution 2.30.3-1ubuntu6 with
evolution-mapi 0.30.3-1ubuntu1.

The latest versions of evolution (2.30.3-1ubuntu6) and evolution-mapi
(0.30.3-1ubuntu1) in Ubuntu Maverick allow me to read my mail without this

is grayed out.
Interestingly, if I start a game, and then end it, the Network game
option is no longer grayed out. However, it still does not work...

This happens to me on startup with 2.30.3-1ubuntu7.3. Evolution doesn't
get to the point of displaying anything graphically. Here is what
happens when it is launched from a shell:
