Public bug reported:
I've got all my music stored on an external file server running Ubuntu
6.06 with samba. I am accessing my music through a Samba share using a
6.10 Ubuntu beta installation. In 6.06 I could play my music without
issue but upon upgrading to 6.10 I cannot.
I have tried opening
One thing that I forgot to mention: I am able to add the file to my
library successfully if I copy the file to my local machine first.

I did an update of all packages (RhythmBox is at 0.9.6-0ubuntu3) and the
bug is still present.
