hi, the issue is still present but in my case using a Kodak EasyShare CX 7430
I noticed some segfault in dmesg :

error 4 in libgdu.so.0.0.0[4d+1c000]
[ 65.437093] gvfs-gdu-volume[2596]: segfault at c ip 004187da sp
Wondering why this bug has not been forwarded upstream ?

Well I forwarded the patch to that closed bug anyway since look like
userspace race too ...
Next step would be to open a new one and update that patch (see TODO )
to see if upstream want to integrate this sleep workaround or give hints
to fix this elsewhere ...
