thank you for the reminder. No, I haven't experienced the problem for a
while. I remember at that time my computer was using a lot swap space -
I think it may have been the problem. Since that I added another memory
card, and it's been working well.

Sebastien,
The sound was OK, the cursor could move. I don't have the same problem
playing the same mp3 file with Rhythmbox music player.
