In synaptic there is cue2toc so maybe the call from Brasero is to the
wrong library?

Intstalled cue2toc and cdrdao via synaptic, so cdrdao is installed now, still
Brasero says that cdrdao is not installed when I want to create an image or
copy of an audio cd.
I am using 64bit Lucid on AMD64.
Last Tuesday I ran into the same problem installing 32bit Lucid on a Dell 4500

I don't think so, however, I have yet to see any live distro that does what was
quoted here. Apart from the fact that translations will always fall short from
complete in whatever language, the majority of "nerds & power users" will use
English as default language. I would say: Close the matter.
Well, even in 9.04 "Jaunty" it still is the case. I know that in the
past, the interfaces were in Dutch. If I installed for example 8.04 and
8.10 part of the interface was still English, for example the add/remove
programs. I reported that as a bug. I also have upgraded one
installation from 7.04 o
But I did a search... found out that there is a package called UCK and
that with it, a customised version can be created in any supported
language. Of course I will build a Dutch one, test it and use it on the
occasions that I have to proof that Ubuntu is fun to use and works in
our native language
Created the ISO, works flawlessly. Mind you: If only one language is
chosen, that language shows up in the menu. You have the ability to pick
more. I tried Dutch and Esperanto and those two remained under the F2
key. Started the Live CD in Dutch and all dialogues were Dutch, except:

Hi Przemysław,
Learning still... I am cuurently downloading it. However not everyone has
the ability to boot the PC from a DVD. Therefore, in order to demonstrate
I need a CD that simply starts in Dutch but that is what I now have
created with the UCK package.
Thanks for pointing this out to me
>>he best solution for this would be for the setup program to
automatically set LC_TIME for the country you select you live in during
setup. At least i suspect that will make more people happy "by default".
I want simply to be able to set the format to ISO 8601 ie. .mm.dd
hh:mm:ss in Ubuntu. W
After seeing this in some older version of Ubuntu this issue never
reoccurred with whatever USB stick or -drive I have. I currently use
Ubuntu 12.04LTS_64bit. I have no USB3 hardware.

I can comment on this too, Evince prints a document partially, it is missing
the extreme upper and lower parts on paper but not in the preview. In XPDF the
whole document IS printed! So one can conclude that it is not the printer
driver and not the printer, in my case a HP 8150, unless of course
Oops... Evince 3.3 in Precise (on my laptop) still has the same broken
embedded photos as I see in Lucid. So still no joy.

At the time I reported this I had this VL420 in use. But later I upgraded it to
Maverick and gave it away to my net-door neighbour...:-) The machine still
works okay but I have no ability to recreate the bug, so if I am the only one
who reported this, maybe we regard this as a one time issue. On
