When reporting the bug, I used the nvidia-driver-435 which is not
tested.
I have installed the nvidia-driver-440 and rerun the test case.
Same result: selecting 125% scaling gives 200% scaling

Procedure to make bug happen:
1. open gnome control center and select screen (skærme in danish)
2. click the "fractional scaling" switch
3. select 150% scaling and click the green button at top right
4. Result is a blank screen and the
Selecting scaling to 175% gives the same result as 150% -> blank screen
and monitor power save state

window & fonts, only seeing upper left part of the desktop on the screen

When installing a fresh Ubuntu Gutsy using Danish locale a ~/Desktop
folder is created and owned by root:root
A localized folder ~/Skrivebord is also created (Skrivebord is danish
for Desktop)
~/Desktop should be a link to Skrivebord and not a separate directory

Well, perhaps I placed the bugreport in a wrong package, but danish
newcomers to Ubuntu will be baffled. A configuration where many
installers will not function properly is a bugged configuration.
What package would be the correct to file a bug in, e.g. which package
takes care of setting up /home
