The same with me (HP nx8220 PG802EA), both: [System-> logout -> Sleep] & [Power
Button -> Sleep] causes appearing logout dialog on resume. Dapper Beta with
current updates (2006-04-25).
Also screen is not locked. But this probably due to bug in gnome-screensaver.

Just want to confirm. While attepting to write data project machine at
first freeze (after ~ 5min. attepting to do sth with DVD) then simply
restarted. I was only browsing internet in a meantime. No problem with
writing from nautilus (burn://).
