Indeed, I have the same problem. Specifically, for me it happens at the exact moment when the screen shifts. It seems to work with many tools as well. When zoomed out, no problem, but the instant you zoom in and try to scroll without using the scroll-bar, it crashes. I even tried reinstalling GIMP,
