user ID to empathy unless your contact opens facebook.com/username and
create a facebook user ID. so that empathy detects the ID so that its
identifiable. unless facebook itself fixes this empathy cannot do
anything.

Just tried the steps you provided and it worked fine for me. i.e. if
there was nothing in the dir it showed 'Empty' and if any file/folder
was in the folder it was shown and I can open it.

Thanks for the bug report. when you delete something it is supposed to
move to trash every other software does that. what do you expect
evolution to do if there is an option to not delete email from server?
should it just hide the mail from your mail list without doing anything
on the server?
