Hi Tony,
I have got the wireless working. It seems when the kernel was updated the
new broadcom modules were not built. I rebooted with an older kernel and the
wireless started working. I then updated the system again and the broadcom
modules were built, thus solving the problem.

I just upgraded my laptop to karmic alpha 3 from Jaunty. After the
upgrade it was able to connect to the wireless network. Then I did a
system update and after rebooting I am not able to connect to the WiFi.
