The fix proposed in bug #211962 :
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pyopengl/+bug/211962
worked for me, after a fresh install of Karmic on an eeepc 1005PE platform, 3D
in glchess was at start unavailable.
The fix is to add a link to LibGL.so:
sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libGL.so.1 /usr/lib/libG

As reported before, all the “.goutputstream-xx” files are temporary
files that GLib uses in file write activities. However, these buffer
files aren't deleted when an operation was cancelled. Currently, a fix
was committed for this bug (see #104).
Now, let's focus on the other part of the probl

Ok, finally, I think I understand what's going on here, this issue will
happen with any photo.
In fact, when you skip eog from a windowed mode to full screen mode, the
horizontal slider length is incorrectly recomputed, making it too large
for the image.
You can then scroll horizontally far too m
Ok nadamsieee, I came to this conclusion because I looked at files in
/usr/share/pyshared/glchess and find out that the error message for
OpenGL libs missing (the last one I had after installing the python-
gtkglext1 and python-opengl packages) was due to an import statement in
chessview.py
So I t
Which error do you get then ?
I thought you had also the OpenGL error popup.

I suppose you have installed the python-gtkglext1 package ?
Could you try the 2 following statements in the Python console:
>>> import gtk.gtkgl
>>> import gtk.gdkgl
Do you get an error message for any of them ?

I Confirm the bug, as I just migrated from Feisty to Gutsy a couple of
days ago.

- the new X windows session to be attached to VT9 instead of initial VT7.

Just tried your tip but it does not work for me.
The remote server was already stopped.
Enabling or disabling it has no effect, the X server always restarts at
logout, and always uses VT9 instead of VT7.

Hi,
I had the same problem with no logout sound after upgrading from Feisty
to Gutsy.
I've first been surprised by the Unistallation package window, which
appears just before starting the upgrade. The package "esound" was
listed as being uninstalled during the upgrade.
After the upgrade to Gutsy

Ok, I did not post before as I was doing deep tests on Edgy and Feisty

The result is that I get this Nautilus bug / crash on *both* distros
