Hardware keys on an inspirion 3137 for brightness don't work. Manually setting
the backlight via /sys/class/backlight/intel_backlight/brightness
works properly. This worked properly in vivid and has been broken since
upgrade.

After selecting 'show hidden and backup files' in the view tab of the
preferences menu, hidden and backup files don't appear in the current
window, or even browsing to other windows. If I open a new window, the
new window will now show the hidden files properly.
To reproduce:
I lost this installation to a hard drive issue. I will upgrade again
shortly and see if it affects me again and update the bug.
