After upgrading to Intrepid my gnome sessions are no longer saved. After
selecting Automatically save session, or by manually clicking the Save
session button, the sessions are not saved and the new login session
does not open any of the app
I agree that this bug should be a high priority fix as many users of
previous releases are used to this option and expect it to work in the
next release. I have this problem and it is _very_ annoying!

On Intrepid, after loging into gnome session the keyboard shortcuts are
not working at all. For example, trying to switch between workspaces
does nothing. I can change the keyboard shortcuts in the keyboard
shortcuts application and they keys are

Karmic Beta1 updated on 20 Oct 2009. Session is not saved properly. As a
test, i've opened a Firefox browser and 7 Terminals. I've also created
15 workspaces. Each terminal has been placed in its own Workspace. I've

I am using the default Karmic install without making any changes. I've
updated the system after the install and have been testing a few things.
According to the Appearance menu, the Visual Effects are set as Normal.

Okay, here is what i've found.
Once I've switched off the Visual Effects, all my terminals have apeared
in the right workspaces. After that, I've reenabled the effects, saved
session and logged back on. The terminals are now in the right places.

Jaunty's Beta session manager does not properly restore the Terminal.
