I had this problem (when inserting a blank dvd-r) on 15.10 Ubuntu 64
bit. I use Gnome-fallback-session and use Nemo file manager. I loaded
up dconf-editor and searched for "mount". I deselected all of the
automount features and the annoying message has gone away (for now at
least).

Same issue here. Mouse clicks in window list work only randomly. Alt-tab
and other methods work fine.
Just tested the 'env GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1 gnome-panel --replace'
workaround and it fixed things for me.

Update.
If anyone is still having problems. The error came back for me after using my
fix above using "dconf editor".
Navigated to "org/gnome/desktop/media-handling" and unticked "automount" and
"automoun
I fixed the issue on 13.04 by using "dconf editor".
Navigated to "org/gnome/desktop/media-handling" and unticked "automount" and
"automount-open"

This bug is still present in Maverick.
Reproducible always by:
- click on "Window Selector" applet to show the list
- click on it again to hide it
- click on it again to show the list
- there will be about 30% of windows missing from the list
- this error persists until focus is shifted to a diff

I think that some of the people affected, myself included, might have
issues with this due to Bug #448921. It is a bug where DVD discs aren't
always unmounted when they are ejected. My issue was that I still had a
disc "mounted" in the drive, along with the mount for the blank disc.

shows no agent running

the drive (which apparently is now only doable from command line) works

I didn't make the connection with screen saver but it is true that it
only happens when the screen saver has been active but not every time.

I have just recovered from this! You don't have to kill off your session.
I used a terminal window that had focus on that desktop and killed the
only gnome-screensaver I saw running; then ran a new gnome-screensaver.
Then I went out for coffee. When I got back I had forgotten what I
was doing and
My HTC One running Android 4.2.2 would not mount under Ubuntu 14.04. I
finally figured out that turning on USB debugging on the phone (under
