I have this issue on a new Thinkpad X220 only when i am on AC power WITHOUT the

Whenever I download a proprietary application such as Adobe Air, Google
Earth or RealPlayer 11 ( these come in .bin ) I am not able to open them
with a simple double click, if I attempt this I get a message from
nautilus saying:
There is no application installed for this file
Is there a way were the user can execute these applications after he/she
applies the 'Allow executing as a program' checkmark without having to
open the terminal and running ./foo.bin ?
For example, once the user applies the permissions with nautilus, he/she

This happens with all commercial DVDs. Unless I installed libdvdcss,
there should be a GUI for this installation, an end-user just wont know
how to do it. I know theres a script under /usr/share/doc/libdvdread/
to install libdvdcss, but an enduser just wont like opening the terminal
just to watch h
No iPod has OGG Support, it's firmware doesn't beleive in opensource
;-). But rhythmbox converts the transfrred OGGs into MP3s, but the
majority of the conversion result end up in a mute file inside the
ipod's database.

Rhythmbox has certain sound problems playing files wich are lower than
128 kbps ( 96 kbps for instance ), doesn't mattter if its OGG or MP3 it
sounds choppy, but when I play them with mplayer they sounds flawlessly,
whenever I try to minimize a window rhythmbox pauses the play
I tried disabling the crossfading plugin but the problem remained, I ran
the gst-launch command and the song played perfectly without any
problems.

Whenever I mouseover a video file (tested using diggnation Theora
format) the commando "play" runs but it should stopped running after the
cursor left the file, right?
Well I mouseover the file and the command runs and i have to kill the
"play".
No, it only happes with Theora (ogg) videos, you can clearly notice the
musical note icon appearing on top the of the thumbnail, that also
happens only with theora videos. A .mpg video for example does not get
that musical note cloud at all, it just shines like a normal nautilus
icon would do.

@vanvugt This crash didn't generate a crash report. There is a less
destructive way to test it? I think deleting, or even moving, my
extensions wouldn't be productive since it's part of my daily use.
