Yes, I'm using the X.org radeon driver. I hadn't explicitly set EXA, so XAA was
used (I checked in Xorg.0.log). Trying to set explictly XAA and EXA didn't help
things, the corruption appears with EXA as well, but different: the background
is some sort of light orange or light green, instead of b
Shortly put, yes. I see no display problems with Ubuntulooks, when RenderAccel
is disabled. Sorry for being too verbose.
The only issue with having RenderAccel disabled is the blinking with gksudo's
darkening/lighting of the rest of the screen (there's no blinking when the
logout panel darkens
The corruption completely disappeared since I switched RenderAccel off
(I'm using Human exclusively for 3-4 weeks now, didn't happen once).
With RenderAccel on it's easily reproducible, by switching desktops or
minimizing/restoring windows. It looks like a driver issue to me. BTW,
