I got my settings to work after I flushed all my gconf settings (they got
corrupted somehow) anyways, after getting everything back to how i want, the
settings stick now.

Binary package hint: evolution
When looking at an email containing a forwarded email attachment, (in my
case it was a air travel itinerary), the attachment (attachment file
extension *.dat) fails to open in evolution and also fails when saved
and opened from the desktop. When

line the MIME headers are (last time I touched html was in 5th grade).
