I also experience this problem. When I begin to reply to a message, all
words are underlined until I go to Edit->Current Languages in the email
creation window and select a language. However, for me, this setting is
not saved, as the next time I reply, I have to select the language
again.

After reading the comments more carefully above, I did go to
Edit->Preferences->Composer Preferences and select a different language,
clicked OK and closed Evolution, then restarted it and again went to
Edit->Preferences->Composer Preferences and selected the language I

I just discovered that if you type a '%' in the Search field, all the
names in the Address list show up. '%' is the SQL wildcard symbol.
Is this the way the 'Bcc:' dialog window is supposed to work?

I also had similar white top bar as in the screenshot above. I then
changed the system theme to "Ambiance" and it seems to fix the problem.
