I did a couple of quick tests and it looks as though file roller is not
actually compressing the tar file, and it doesn't matter which

files as the command works as expected for other files.
Steps to reproduce:
1) In Nautilus, r

Which devices use "Flght mode" ? All the Android devices I own or use

UK translation.
Is this actually a translation issue to be "fixed" or simply a change
to reduce the amount of vocabulary needing translation in other
devices?

You've forgotten about the rules of precedence (BODMAS). Division
happens before addition, so split up the calculation you have is:
6 + ( 5 / 2 )
5/2=2.5
6+2.5=8.5
The bug is invalid.

OK, so I've spent a few hours trying to track down a possible cause of
this bug as it also affects palimpsest (Disk Utility); when run both
would exit with the device_recurse error. However, a Maverick install in
a VirtualBox VM didn't have these issues, hence it must be hardware-

After rebooting with neither USB device connected I was greeted by my
internal NTFS drives mounted with labels, and USB drive auto-mounting

OK, so I rebooted with both devices attached and all seems good. I

installation? (Somewhere along the line it thinks keyboard and mouse are
system devices, but there is something else plugged into the USB ports?)
