evolution-calendar-factory memory corruption crash on caldav sync
To reproduce:
1) Connect evolution data server to a caldav account (methods vary but I used
https://github.com/pcrockett/Gnome-DAV-Support-Shim plus my icloud account)
2) Open gnome calendar
3) Watch the journ
To add: here's what I see in the journal for evidence of the crash:

This is caused by Evolution not having the most up-to-date version of
the event. If the calendar is refreshed, the issue may go away.

hi since updating a couple days ago i now can't get into the new gnome-
control-center other from terminal. all i have is an
applications/places/system menus but on system menu only have abouts and
help, no control options and no links to the new control center. plus
not showi
ok tried reinstalling gnome-menus package and restarting but this didn't
help...
i don't have a /etc/xdg/menus/settings.menu. i have preferences.menu and
system-settings.menu though.
i deleted the settings.menu file when someone was trying to help me in
irc... but deleting it didn't help me.

plus deleting this file was me trying to fix the problem, not the cause

i have the same problem! it's a major stress cos i can't get on the net
with my netgear pcmcia
- plus when i plug a regular LAN connection in also that won't work
despite being able to set it's properties...
becuase i use wireless in two places i tried to change the location at
the top of the net
also i can't get any updates now to see if anything that's been released
fixes the problem...

on my i386 i removed the system.menu file from /home/.config/menus and
removed the system.menu file from xdg
then i did the force confmiss command and reinstalled gnome-menus from
the apt archive...
but i don't have a control center shortcut on my system menu still...

There's an infinite recursion in MIME resolution bug which affects
processes using gio to resolve certain MIME types. In my case, tracker-
miner-fs-3 has been crashing in a loop for weeks due to this issue.
I reported the issue to the GLib maintainers here:

I see that the verification tags have already been manipulated, but I
wanted to add that I don't see the issue any more after upgrading. I
was never quite sure why my system was seeing this issue, so it's not a
100% certain verification of the fix, but it seems likely to be good.

that either the two programs share some buggy code, or that it is truly

I now think this to be my fault (surprise). I removed the complaining
libraries (which may have been left over from an install from source,
instead of dapper packages) and now everything is fine.
