I had an ask.metafilter.com tab open, which I was just reading, I was
not invoking any special commands when the crash occured.
This sort of crash seems to happen intermittantly, it usually happens
after a couple hour

Could people state the titles of the DVDs they are having problems with?
Many DVDs have copy protection which break DVD playback. It would be
useful to know which could be the culprits.

Marcos: So is it 'I Am Legend' in particular giving you problems, or can
you not play *any* commercial DVDs?
If its this DVD in particular, its likely because it has ARccOS copy
protection, which most DVDs don't have.
