I just updated, and now all volume sliders (input, application volume)
scroll properly except for when I click on the icon so the little volume
box pops up. Here, the scroll wheel is backwards for me.

going into failsafe terminal, then running apt-get remove rarian-compat,

confirming - I use fglrx, and the bug only appears for me when using
desktop effects (compositing).
