main body area of a Nautilus window where all your file and directory
icons are shown instead of just a plain boring colour. Nautilus includes

This problem seems to be getting worse for me. Sometimes it will hang
within minutes of launching Evolution or may last several hours without
a problem, but I'm now guaranteed a minimum of four lockups a day,
requiring me to kill the evolution-data-server task each time.
I now have a cron job setu

Just upgraded (well, fresh install - not upgrade from Intrepid) to

experiencing this issue as well with my POP3 mailbox. When Evolution has

Yannick, this no longer appears to be a problem in Jaunty. I conducted

- Enabled the "Play sound effects when butto
Actually, the problem DOES occur with the stock Nautilus patterns as
well - make the window size SMALLER than the dimensions of the stock
background tile image, close and re-open the Nautilus window and you
will see the rendering issue. I noted this on my EeePC701 with its
diminutive screen dimensi
I can confirm this on a native machine installation as well. The Ubuntu
logo in the GDM display changes to the GNOME monitor icon and never
changes back after you uncheck the "enhance contrast" option too
(although the colours changed back, but only after a reboot).

Using Nautilus 2.30 in Lucid RC, the bug is still there. Simply right-
click any file or folder and choose "Copy" from the menu. The message in
the status bar at the bottom of the window says " will be moved if
you select the Paste command".
I'll add a comment in the upstream bug report.

Hi Nigel,
1. Right-mouse-click any single file or folder in Nautilus. A menu appears.
2. Choose "Copy" from the menu.
3. Now look at the message in the status bar (bottom of the Nautilus window).
It says the file/folder "will be MOVED if you select the Paste command" instead
of "copied".

I should add that the "menu hover" message correctly states "will be
copied". When you actually select the Copy command (thus closing the
menu), the "will be moved" message appears in place of it.

"Copy" command information message in Nautilus says file will be "moved", not
"copied".
