Binary package hint: brasero
I tried to burn an ISO disk image to a CD-RW disk. Brasero
(0.7.1-3ubuntu1) tells the disk is not supported. For what it is worth,
the disk is Maxell 4-12x high speed CD-RW 700MB. K3b burns to that disk.

I remember I could change gxine's mixer device to be software mixer, but
I don't remember what alsa_mixer_name I used anymore. I remember I got

I may try the given command, if I have to burn something to such a disc.
Or I just use K3b again, if I am in hurry. Pedro Villavicencio, did you
try with exactly same kind of CD-RW disc and same version of software
and still succeeded in burning an ISO image by Brasero?

I could again, but it took several minutes of trying. Maybe it is

I think I have the same problem with a PCI dialup modem. I can make
connection work by "sudo wvdial", after I edited /etc/wvdial.conf to be

first.) I guess the Init2 string in the file makes the difference. I

Xubuntu 6.06.1 has the same effect. The OS shouldn't let you login
