The Smugmug exporter fails between the first and second photo on a
multiple photo export with the message:

This bug was fixed in F-Spot's SVN, and was discussed in bugzilla bug
542934 http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=542934. Ubuntu should
update it's distributed version to the updated version.
