do not work as they should.. so I used to change to default while using
such an app and return to the solution elsewhere. But after a while I

Somehow after I updated through update-manager about an hour ago and
restart, now it is working fine. I also notice a scroll bar on
loginscreen (although I have only one user). After logged in, I notice
the text (previous was 1.25) to seem a bit larger.. And I goto
settings/monitor. Now (at least f
checked again every possible change.. (ecxept from 200%) and everything
is working fine!

2. type anything in search box in any folder (remote or not, empty or not)

In var/crash, there is no nautilus crash. There are 3 files. One named:
_usr_bin_gnome-shell.1000.crash, another: _usr_bin_gnome-
shell.1000.upload and another: _usr_bin_gnome-shell.1000.uploaded.
On the step two, I manage to find these links which are nautilus crashes

About photo: After two letters searched, it stops responding (as is shown on
the screenshot) and it poped up a message says "Force quit" or "Wait" (I am not

I did it. The only crash that did not open ubuntu-bug was
"_usr_bin_gnome-shell.1000.crash". I don't know if that is relevant to
the problem.
If I could do anything to add more info, please tell me.
The problem wasn't just a crash. It happens about every three in a row
times that I returned my pc
Correction:
In a fresh boot (after powered off) size changed to normal only with
restarting environment. If gnome-teak-tool is used, size could change
from small to tiny only. Although, after restarting environment (alt+f2
+r) then gnome-teak-tool do the job as well.

I found where the problem is! After all these months.. There where also two
other issues on my new ubuntu 22.10 installation (same as 22.04).
1. SSD M2 temperature was climbing too high.
2. RAM after a few hours of work was also getting full (16gb total) without
doing anything special.
3. the iss
It happens that after I original post this bug the frequency
unreasonably decreased. But the problem is not solved with deactivated
extensions.
Although I experience a suspicious behaviour on extensions removal. I'll
describe it on the end.
Re-description of the problem:

installation of ubuntu 18.10 and no extensions installed this happened:
