Hi Jeremy,
Nautilus 3.31.90 does not start without Tracker.
Today's update broke Nautilus and I had to install some Tracker packages to
correct this.
So there are some missing dependencies here.

In Artful, since last langpack update, GS is well translated (in French)
but Evolution is not, even after complete reboot.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 17.10
Package: evolution 3.24.3-0ubuntu2
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.11.0-10.15-generic 4.11.8
Uname: Linux 4.1
I use Ub. Gnome 16.04. If I use lightdm, the bug happens (one thread,
gvfs-smb-browse using 100 % of a virtual CPU) when I open Nautilus. I
switched back to gdm (NB : gdm is not working with Nvidia proprietary
drivers...) (!!!) and I do not see this high CPU usage.

Plucky upgraded, GNOME Wayland session, extensions totally disabled.
In my memory, this came with the upgrade gtk4 4.17.1+ds-2.
But I'm not sure it was even the previous 4.16.7 upgrade.

To be clear:
- GNOME Shell is fully reactive during these ~10-20 seconds after opening
session
- back from lock or suspend does not trigger the issue

Just now: session start-up, xdg-d-p started 12 seconds after GNOME Shell
