the keyboard isn't appearing on most apps, and I don't know how to

file/directory that I want to check/open. Then the fastest option for me
if to highlight it, copy it, then click to open the file browser,
CTRL-L, then paste it.

Also, it's simply not coherent with the notifications for the email
software : the enveloppe becomes blue if I receive emails. It's not
turning blue if I receive a message in Empathy. I would expect it to
behave the same way no matter which softwares is receiving something,
right ?

Even if the enveloppe is not suppposed to change and the triangle gets
blue, it's too hard to notice. I had to read on another bug report about
this blue triangle to notice it ! I liked it better to have the unread
messages count appearing on the Empathy icon. I don't know if it's

No, it's not the same bug as in #2 :
the message just does NOT appear in the chat window. I have to open the
history to see what was sent.
It's not about the indicator, it's about the message being notified, but
not appearing in the chat window.
What do you mean by "the empathy chat log file" ?
It's working now ! same server, we didn't update anything on it.

When trying to open a .wmf file, there is no "open with" option, and the
"open" option leads to an error message. Gimp is not able to edit this
format, but at least to read it. Nautilus is also creating a thumb for
the file, so it's a bit frustrating not to be able to open it.
