When adding or configuring printers information, there are two
categ
I am not sure why this has been categorize low priority. I added some
more information to the upstream bug. I really think this is an
important usability issue, as more people use DVD-R/W drives and this
seems to imply Ubuntu is incable of rightly identifying this "simple"
device. I deal with lots
Tested again with Dapper Beta (post Flight 6), there's only one category now
(HP).

There is no mouseover in Maverick beta for this, however the "menu" item
when clicking on the battery effectively remains at "estimating...". The
battery icon, however, seems to be visually accurate, showing a battery
that empties overtime. This is on an updated 10.10 beta i386 install.

I am not sure I understand your second comment, .c files do open with
gedit if no IDE is installed which is a sensible fallback. Opening a
(presumably) known file format in Firefox isn't, OTOH.

That's what I am saying, it's the same except we don't have a good
fallback. Failing a good fallback, Ubuntu should propose
applications/packages known to handle that format, in this case,
scribus-ng.

Scribus files op
Nautilus now says "Scribus Document (application/vnd.scribus)" - this is
after I assigned the file type to it permanently when I first tried to
open it unsuccesfully.
Since Scribus is often mentioned as one of the major desktop applications in
the Ubuntu official documentation, I was expecting a
