I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 and noticed a weird behavior. When I define the
wallpaper image, ok, now is the same image for the lock screen and
wallpaper, but on every first boot I get a mysterious image I don't know
where is coming from. Is a beach or something. I already checked m
I'm running some scripts here to try to find all the images with more
than 800px on all over the system. As soon as I get and check the
results, I came back here with some news. :-)

Guys, just noticed that *after* the first boot, if I click on the user
icon on the bottom right (screenshot1.png), I also get the mysterious
background (screenshot2.png) and after log in again, I get a delay
(screenshot3.png).

Seems that is a "bug" on the theme I was using, not an Ubuntu one. But
we can use this for reference. :-)
That beach was driving me mad! :-)

Also confirmed here, ibus-gtk wasn't installed and while using keyboard
the cursor was missing, now it is just when I use the mouse.

+1. Year after year, version after version, it *always* fails to write my
disks. And seems always ruins them also.
No way to recommend an Ubuntu newbie to use it and not hear "writing DVDs on
Linux sucks" after that.
