Hi!
I have an intermittent issue with nautilus, and have finally been able
to find the sequence of events to cause it. It seems that during use,
my PC will stop responding to Icon clicks on the desktop. I can draw a
select box around them, and
Sort of. The shaded area inside the select box returns to normal, but
the selection border box remains visible.
It's possible there is something broken on my system, I've noticed an
aberrant looks like I'm double clicking but I am only single clicking in
evolution too.

Yes, the issue is still occurring, but it is not really a nautilus
issue. This problem only seems to occur on laptops with touchpads and
pointing sticks. A bug somewhere else is causing the system to send an
incorrect click event.

After a short but random interval, gnome-panel hangs on my system, and
starts allocating ram to itself until the system runs out of memory.
The notification area applets seem to be ok, i.e. xeyes still follows
the cursor, but the applications

For what it's worth, I've been up and stable since yesterday afternoon
by turning the clock applet off. (Right-Click remove from panel)

Me too. I've re-added the clock and disabled evolution-alarm-notify to
see if it might be the cause. Do you use evolution for your email?

I have everything turned back on except evolution-alarm-notify and it
seems to be working. Do you want to try disabling e-a-n and see if
that's it?

Hi. Is this still an issue for you? Something seems to have cleared it
up... and I'm running evolution-alarm-notify just fine now. I have the
proposed repository turned on and switched my gtk theme from crux to
human.
