Currently Empathy stores the passwords for your account in plain text inside
gnome key-ring. This approach is safer than others however if someone has
physical access to your computer, and can find a way to log in to your account,

I'm sorry for the confusion, i misinterpreted the way Canonical had set up
Ubuntu One, they don't actually store passwords, they use OAuth tokens and SSO,
thereby storing a private token on your computer.
Again, i apologize for the mistake, and am marking this as an invalid bug.

Happens to me to on 11.10, i'm experiencing this with an Intel board, it
happens intermittently, sometimes i can see the log-in dialog box, other

shortcut shows up as disabled, when in fact it is set to be Alt-`
The Alt-` shortcut does work, however in the menu it doesn't exist

For some odd reason the system window bar/tray appears in the lock
screen after the system has been locked a few times while running for
quite some time without a shutdown. Not sure on the origin of this bug.

deja-dup fails when trying to automatic backup to Ubuntu One, it fails
with an error code, no graceful explanation of what is going on, doesn't
ask for password either. In short, if you are uploading to Ubuntu One,
you should have to save the password if you are doing automati
so, this bug did disappear after a while, but i did have it once before,
so it must be getting triggered by something random. Any idea on logs i

When you have an empathy chat window open, and you hold down the windows/super
key, you should see a number appear over the empathy icon indicating what
window it is, however when you do this, nothing appears, even stranger, when

it almost seems like there should be an option to add this to an existing AIM
contact, and this feature is only half broken, as in people don't really know
it exists or how it works in empathy. From what I've seen it needs this format
