When burning a CD with an external USB burner, brasero 2.32.0 (running
on Ubuntu 10.10) showed an implausible time estimation, as illustrated
on the attached screen shot.
Also the progress estimation seems to be invalid. The burning process
can't

As of Brasero 2.32.0 in Ubuntu 10.10, brasero displays the message
"Please replace the disk with a supported CD or DVD" (as shown on the
attached screen shot), although it could not detect
a) any disc at all or
b) not even a CD/DVD burner

Sorry, but I don't have a separate test machine with 11.04 installed to
reproduce this problem. It would be very helpful though if someone else
who has such an environment could verify this.
I tried to reproduce it in a VM running 11.04 though, and there the
behavior seems to be the same (see new
I have the same bug in Ubuntu 11.04 (actually Lubuntu 11.04 but it uses
afaik the same applet) with a Thinkpad X40. It also showed up after a
suspend/resume.
This seems to be one of the really long-living bugs!
