[Bug 1878567] [NEW] gnome-software crashes with segmentation fault error

Public bug reported: Uning Ubuntu 18.04, recently gnome software started crashing on startup. When running via terminal I see segmentation fault error. System is up to date after running apt upgrade etc. I have attached the output of gnome-software --verbose --- ProblemType: Bug ApportVersion: 2
