Workaround: If you have Intel graphics you should be able to use the
"xbacklight" command. Should also work with the open-source nvidia

It's been quite a while since I submitted that report but I don't think it
is a duplicate of #28052. 28052 does deals with motion sensitivity not
click sensitivity or am I mistaken?
