I also get this error every time I reboot Ubuntu 9.04. This error is still current and occurs on every boot. My theory is that the problem is exactly what it says it is - I probably killed power to the system, leaving a lock file somewhere. My question is simply where this lock file would be, so

Also, I had an unrelated boot error, so I recently reinstalled 10.04, this time beta 2. The bug still occurs the exact same way as often and as random. I suppose I am going to grab a copy of poppler source and see if maybe I can just disable all the code for password protected files. I mean, I n
