Installing feisty on an IBM ThinkPad R40 with a 7000Mobility (not xgl
supported) crashes first load up after upgrade. Would be nice if OS
detected the card and didn't give any problems

I use the default Ubuntu-installed ATI driver. I'm not really that
experienced in Ubuntu, but when I installed the beta of Feisty, once the
loading screen was done it crashed before I got to log in. I don't use
xgl. My video card is an ATI mobility Radeon 7500.
