I can confirm having run into this bug on my Toshiba Satellite
A505-S6960 under Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and after installing Ubuntu 12.10 over
it. It's a big battery drain and I have to keep turning the brightness

I disagree with the Fix Released status. I have visited and read the
upstream bug, which was closed simply because Swell Foop no longer has
buttons for Undo/Redo. However, it still has menu entries under the Game
menu in the menu bar, and those still don't work. It was those menu
entries I was refe

11.10 partition on my Toshiba A505 S6960 laptop. The 11.10 partition was

I just got this crash after unsuccessfully trying to import some music
from my Music folder into Rhythmbox (only took in one file and gave up
on the rest). It produced numerous input errors when I did so that
showed up in their own sidebar category. The crash report came up after
I closed Rhythmbox
I can confirm this is still an issue on Precise Alpha 1. The workaround
is to first log into a GNOME Shell session, have 4 workspaces open in
the workspace switcher, then log out and select Ubuntu 2D from the
LightDM session menu. (Of course, if fewer workspaces are desired, you
can also open fewer
