Eric, that just means you're using a 4:3 resolution on a 16:9 or 16:10
monitor or something. Maybe you're using -vesa, which has very limited
support for widescreen resolutions. In any case, it's a lesser detail

are due to AIGLX, but I'm awaiting confirmation of that. Applying help

Look in your Xorg.0.log for a line like:
(II) RADEON(0): Max H-Image Size [cm]: horiz.: X vert.: Y
That line is what your monitor is reporting of its true capabilities,
and is provided directly from the monitor manufacturer.

arguing against the patch, just curious). I note that the patch affects
the EXA code in the -ati driver, where I understood this particular
render bug only occurs in XAA, and goes away when using EXA.
