I'm experiencing the issue in Intrepid 32bit. I was able to burn two
disks yesterday morning (the first two since Intrepid upgrade), however
yesterday evening and today, every blank disk inserted reports 0 bytes
available. The same disks burn fine in Rhythmbox on the same machine.

I can confirm that after changing settings to allow suspending then
changing back to no-suspend, the setting now persists. Resolved for me.
