I'm seeing this bug in KDE applications (such as KTorrent) as well as
GTK applications (such as Evolution) on Ubuntu 12.04.
Greg, could you please reopen this bug? It seems to be an upgrade issue.

I SOLVED my problem by resetting the gtk color scheme:
dconf reset /org/gnome/desktop/interface/gtk-color-theme
Considering that the GUI to edit this setting is gone, this is an
upgrade bug. The old setting should either be ignored or reset to its
default value.

Not sure if this is the same bug. I get random crashes from
evolution_3.6.0-0ubuntu3:
Program received signal SIGABRT, Aborted.

Another crash. Now I'm getting them very often, within 5-10 minutes from
startup.
This one looks like heap corruption:

I've upgraded to evolution_3.6.2-0ubuntu2 from raring and I still get
the random crashes.
My laptop has a second root partition with Fedora 18 and a shared /home.
The evolution binary in Fedora evolution-3.6.2-3.fc18.x86_64 can access
the same user profile without crashing.

I'm also seeing this bug on Precise with gnome-keyring_3.2.2-2ubuntu4
and libgcrypt11_1.5.0-3ubuntu0.1.
I could get a stack trace, but unfortunately without debug symbols:
#0 0x7673eb4a in times () from /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6
#1 0x7672e47a in clock () from /lib/x86_64-l
Happened again, this time I had some debug info:
#0 0x7673eb4a in times () from /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6
#1 0x7672e47a in clock () from /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libc.so.6
#2 0x76c8ec73 in do_fast_random_poll () at random-csprng.c:1244
#3 0x76c8facd in _gcry_
I can reproduce it at will by relaunching Chromium.
Here's a better stack trace with all threads:
~$ sudo ./dstack gnome-keyring-daemon

Program name: gnome-keyring-d
Program path: /usr/bin/gnome-keyring-daemon

Can we please backport this patch to natty? The patch is likely to apply
cleanly to the gnome 2.x codebase as well.
