do not use the couchdb/ubuntu one contacts. So in my case it has nothing

Thanks for doing all the research. I'm sorry for reporting a bug which
in the end seems to be just an configuration isue. However it confuses
me that manually mounting the share with lfs option also solves the
problem. It was thereby that I was assuming the problem was a bug in
gvfs.

And that box is not even ticked in my case.
The real fix was released on 2010-10-19. I wait for that one to be

I've got this crahsing problem too. Interesting is that Gloobus Preview
does not crash and shows a view of the image while EOG and other Gnome
apps did crash on viewing the file or try to create a preview

My bad. Some googling showed that I can get the serial backend in cupsys if I
configure the package correctly. However, in a way this makes the problem in

need to log in so I click on it, select to log in. A window for google
sign in pops up with my email already entered and a next button. when
you click the next button nothing happens. Ubuntu 23.04, gnome-c
browser works now but sign in does not work. I enter my google credentials
and it just spins forever but never signs in to the account. Luckily I
bypassed this a long time ago just creating a direct app link to google
calendar so really don't need it but it is too bad Ubuntu can't seem to get

Renzo has might work the best. I can't get used to not using "select on
mouseover" and I think many who used it for years will have the same
problems but I would like to use the global menus since that is a great
evolution too imo

I had 3 keyrings,'default' ( holding my gtalk pass ), 'default_1' (
holding passwords for some other chat accounts and a few network
passwords ), and 'login', which was empty.

Might be interesting to add that the quicklist does seem to work when
Nautilus is already open. It will switch to the right bookmark. Only
when Nautilus is closed it crashes here.

When you clic on it a pop-up appears to ask you what application you would like
to choose.
If I would like to choose an other application it directs me to my home-folder
..
Would be nice addition! I don't have the knowledge myself to commit a
fix unfortunately but I hope someone will pick it up! :P

Yeah Lores, I meant somebody who could technically/codewise have a
thorough insight into your findings :) I checked my login group, and
notice Gwibber and Ubuntu One are inthere (a.o.), which i guess get
loaded at login. Maybe those are triggering unlock requests at the same
time?
