I can confirm this on a fresh install of Maverick on a Dell Mini 9. In
the TTY1 console I see two gnome-screensaver-dialog processes, and
killing the later one causes the password to be accepted and my desktop
to be displayed.

I'm seeing this in a Lubuntu desktop session when using Terminator
0.95-0ubuntu1 and Chromium 9.0.597.94~r73967-0ubuntu0.10.10.1. My
/desktop/gcome/url-handlers/{http,https}/command settings are both

(fresh install, not update).
I occasionally use an external monitor, but this also happens after a
cold start with no monitor attached. I have auto-login enabled. I have

OK, I finally got my jaunty installation working and was able to
investigate this. Fixing this needs a change in libmbca. It's not going
to big, but I'm not yet sure how to fix this properly and I don't have
time to work on this in at least couple of weeks..

gstreamer. Unfortunately, I discovered that gstreamer's gstladspa plugin
can't be naturally used with stereo sound sources. However, I realized
that the interleave and deinterleave plugins can be used to spli
OK, I discovered that NULLing out the channel map in the pa_stream_new()
call seems to fix the problem, so therefore the problem must be with bad
generation of the channel-positions in interleave source or bad handling
of (valid) channel-positions in pulsesink.

In my opinion, the keyboard configuration program should have a way of
setting user's preferred keyboard, which applies to GDM as well. My
situation was the follows: GNOME always came up with USA keyboard
layout, which I then fixed every time by going
I just made a fresh gutsy install. I'm using the evolution-exchange to
connect to my exchange inbox. For me the exchange inbox started showing
empty very shortly after I had configured my account. I cleared avay my
~/.evolution directory and this made the messages in inbox visible
again, but they d
A day after, the inbox view got out of sync again. This time the
complete inbox did not disappear. Instead, just some newly arrived mails
remained invisible. After clearing ~/.evolution/mail/exchange the inbox
was again in sync (compared to e.g. OWA with browser).

several times, but always unpredictably, a few minutes in the song.
