This has happened to me too on Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04, gnome 2.26.1. Like
the poster above me the wastebasket, battery, wifi signal, gwibber and
pidgin icons moved to the far right of the screen. Prior to this I had
unchecked the Expand button but then checked it again, and then
restarted the computer

I've updated the description with the original SVG and steps to
reproduce the errors. Additionally, I've linked to a bug report for rsvg
where the developers admit that this display error is due to a bug in
the renderer and not the SVG. Therefore, this SVG is not "bad".

I think forcing the keyboard to act like a Windows one is a bad idea.
With that said I can see why it could annoy people.
Could there be an option for people to set their keyboard to a "Windows
keyboard" i.e. an option to remap the keys to Windows' defaults and

Definitely a usability bug, even if it is small. If it takes a user an
extra 5 seconds or minute to find something on their desktop then I
think it's definitely something that needs to be addressed. It's a shame
that after three years and seven duplicate bugs it still hasn't been
addressed.

This is still happening for me in 9.10. Sometimes when I press refresh
nautilus just hangs and refuses to show the new files.
