Sorry for the late answer.
I have tried to install the debugsym packages but I have no log . I guess my
desktop freezes before log anything in the .xsession-errors

Hello, I have recently upgraded my ubuntu 32bits pc from feisty to gutsy
gibbon beta.
Unfortunately, the application menu is empty.
The only stacktrace I can submit is the output of alacarte :

after upgraded my system and removed all my old ubuntustudio packages ,
I also created a user. Now it works.
