Hi all, I am reopening this bug, and would like some people to try
opening the JPG file with eog attached to this post.
I had this problem with some files... but the problem seems more or less
intermitent. But with this file, almost all the time. You can also try
to open the file with the command

Just a note, this is still a bug in Ubuntu 10.04, but I can see that
this version is still using cairo 1.8.x...
Hope that it will be ok in 10.10.

Hendy, try the simple mode.
More details: On your remote machine, go in system - admin - connection
Window (this is a translation, I don't know the correct terms in
English), choose remote and then you have 3 choices. Deactivated,
identical to local connection, or simple. Use the simple one.

Follow up. The weird part.
So I reinstalled my old machine with gutsy (7.10) and I could connect
from my new machine gutsy with terminal server and xnest in XDMCP mode..
I put the old machine in a closet ;) and connect to it and it work, do
some things and poof. It's gone. Can't connect to it anym

Mabey I am hard, but I am using irfanview on my Ubuntu machine with wine
and the software is blazing fast compare to eog.

I don't really know Valgrind, but using this command :
valgrind -v --tool=memcheck --leak-check=full --num-callers=12 --log-
file=valgrind.log rhythmbox
The memcheck process use 100% of cpu and a LOT of memory. Playing songs
does not work properly. They stop, play, stop play, etc. Is there

I am now using Feisty (Ubuntu 7.04) and will be unable to reproduce this
exact bug since the version of Rhythmbox has changed. Hence, it is
better to close this bug report and I'll open another if it happens

Rhythbox is not running. Then in the browser I click on an stream, ask
to open with rhythbox, RB runs, but the playlist is not there.
Now that is it running, clicking on any stream will add it to the list.

I currently have rhythmbox 0.10.0 with Ubuntu 7.04 and this is still not
fixed.
How to reproduce the "bug" :
1- Go to http://di.fm/ (digitally imported) with Firefox.
2- In the menu, choose "Listen now! - a music of your choice - mp3 stream -
96k" this will ask what to do with a .pls file.

lists. The solution of writing "rhythmbox-client --play-uri=[PATH HERE]"
works on the command line.

@Sebastien : There is no .local/share/applications/.desktop file. I am
using Ubuntu, would that be different? There is a mime-cache file, but
it is listing mp3 with totem witch is not the software running when
clicking on a mp3 file.

Importing from rhythmbox does nothing. When I write nothing, I mean
nothing. No error message, no importing , nothing.
With debug information, it gives this while importing from rhythmbox :
$ serpentine -d

When I go with Nautilus to /media/IPOD/Indéfini/Indéfini I can see the files.
So they are somewhere on the ipod for sure. But when using the ipod playlist,
all those songs are not there.
Now, why would files transfert with RB go in the "Indéfini/Indéfini" (not
define folder) folder? No idea.
