Sorry, I cannot test with natty because it does not boot properly on my
present computer: it takes about 2.5 minutes to boot. The problem is

Section 3.1.1 of the vinagre manual explains that the password dialog
appears if a password is required for logon. This should be apparent
even for a novice user, so this part of the manual will probably not be
read so much.

Commenting out a part of the key handling in gtk-vnc/src/vncdisplay.c
cures the AltGr problem for me.
As I have only one keyboard, a german one, some test should be made to
confirm that this does not break anything.
Maybe the key handling function needs a review (can it be shortened?) if

Upstream, a slightly different fix has been applied for the same problem (plus
a fix for a memory leak, see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=514300).
I am not sure if the upstream is compatible with this one.

Evolution showed a warning in the status bar, and when I clicked it

Apparently, sending the mail was somewhat backgrounded - before I wrote
the bug report, the email was definitively neither in the Sent, the
Drafts nor the Outbox folder. Now it appeared in the Sent folder. Very
confusing.

When I view the attached PDF in evince and press "reload", the complete
evince window moves about 10 pixels to the right. Really funny :-) It
even moves in two steps.
This does not happen with all PDF. The one I attached is produced by
